Miller’s Girl

Cairo Sweet is an 18-year-old girl feeling lonely in Tennessee. Her parents are always busy with work, leaving her to fend for herself. She finds comfort in books and joins a creative writing class. The class is taught by Jonathan Miller, a once-famous writer who now feels stuck in a dull marriage.

Miller is captivated by Cairo's talent. He's impressed by her deep knowledge of literature, especially about a book he wrote.

Cairo's world shifts when she has to write an essay about her greatest achievement. She feels her life is too plain for such a topic. Encouraged by her best friend, Winnie, Cairo decides to flirt with Miller, looking for the kind of thrill Winnie believes will cheer her up.
