Keluarga Cemara

"Keluarga Cemara" (Cemara's Family) is the story of Abah and Emak, and their children Euis and Ara, whose lives change dramatically when Abah goes bankrupt. Forced to move to a remote area in West Java, they face new challenges, including finding new schools for Euis and Ara.

Despite their limitations, the family lives a happy and loving life, although they still sometimes clash over different opinions.

Life in the village introduces new experiences. Euis initially finds it hard to adjust to her less modern school, but she gradually comes to terms with their new reality. Emak contributes by selling opak, and the family faces another surprise when she becomes pregnant with a third child.

The family's resilience is tested when Abah is injured working in construction, but he finds a new path as an online motorcycle driver. This movie beautifully portrays the strength and unity of Abah's family as they go through life's ups and downs. Through determination, love, and hard work, they face and overcome various challenges.
