STORYLINE
This original anime, produced by Studio EVG, not only explores the slice-of-life genre but also combines musical elements and a story in a school setting. The story is about the struggles of a retired conductor who tries to fulfil his dream of winning a national competition and rejoining his orchestra team.
One day, there's Haruo Hibiki, a talented but problematic retired orchestra conductor. Haruo was expelled from the orchestra for being a troublemaker. To come back, Haruo has to build a new choir for male students at Kawagoe Academy and win the National Competition.
Reluctantly, Tenshi and some of his friends join the new choir club. Initially, they are put off by Haruo's childish and silly ways. Yet, as they train with Haruo, they start to appreciate his deep passion for choir music.
However, their path to success is filled with challenges. The competition is tough, and they have to work hard to overcome teams with more experience. Will the Kawagoe Gakuen Boys Choir Club be able to achieve their dream and win the competition?
