Hannah Montana: The Movie

You may be familiar with the story of Hannah Montana from the long-running Disney series that debuted in 2006 and finally spawned a movie after four years on television.

Hannah Montana: The Movie, released in 2009 and directed by Peter Chelsom under the Walt Disney production banner, continues to take us into the dual existence of Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus), also known as teen pop sensation Hannah Montana.

Miley's father, Robby (Billy Ray Cyrus), sees significant changes in his daughter due to her celebrity status. She even forgets her grandmother's birthday party, so Robby has to take action.

Robby decides to take Miley to her hometown in Texas, where Grandma Ruby (Margo Martindale) lives. This unexpected trip took Miley by surprise. During her two-week stay in Texas, Miley returns to her old self, the friendly and kind Miley - as she rediscovers life again.
