El Conde

"El Conde" is a captivating film about a vampire, Augusto Pinochet, who's been alive for 250 years and is longing for an end to his immortality. He used to be a French soldier, but faked his death and moved to Chile, becoming a leader and dictator there.

One day, the Chilean authorities start to question Augusto's mysterious wealth and decide to investigate. Feeling trapped, Augusto fakes his death once more and escapes Chile. He hides out on a small farm with his wife and an old butler, who's also a vampire.

Tired of his vampire life, Augusto tries to end his eternal existence by stopping his consumption of human blood. But what will be the fate of Augusto's long life?

Inspired by the real-life former president of Chile, also named Augusto Pinochet, known for his dictatorial rule, "El Conde" features well-known Chilean actors like Jaime Vadell, Gloria Münchmeyer, Alfredo Castro, and Paula Luchsinger.
