Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning

"The Beginning" is a follow-up to the Digimon Adventure movie "Last Evolution Kizuna" and wraps up the story of Digimon Adventure 02. In this anime, the DigiDestined (the chosen kids) meet a guy named Lui Owada, who says he's the very first DigiDestined.

The adventure kicks off in 2012 when a huge Digitama, like a giant egg, shows up in the sky over Tokyo. Daisuke Motomiya and the other DigiDestined rush to help Lui, who somehow falls from Tokyo Tower. Lui claims to be the original DigiDestined, but oddly, he doesn't have a Digimon partner.

Long ago, Lui met a Digitama that hatched into Ukkomon, a Digimon with the power to make wishes come true. Ukkomon gave Lui the first-ever Digivice and made everyone treat him like he was special.

But Lui soon realizes that his wish to be a solo hero caused trouble. His dream has put the other DigiDestined in danger, as they have to fight Ukkomon.
