Concrete Utopia

In the movie, a massive earthquake strikes Seoul, destroying many areas. Amid the devastation, Hwang Goong Apartment stands tall as the only building left intact. This turns the apartment into the sole refuge for the survivors of the earthquake in Seoul.

Young Tak (Lee Byung Hun), emerges as the leader among the apartment's residents. He works hard to protect the building from being overrun by other city residents seeking shelter. Alongside him is Min Sung (Park Seo Joon) who helps manage the crisis that follows the earthquake.

Min Sung's wife, Myung Hwa (Park Bo Young) is a former nurse whose skills prove invaluable in treating the injured residents. The situation escalates as more people from outside the apartment increasingly try to force their way into the building, desperate for shelter.

Complicating matters, the residents outside Hwang Goong Apartment face the additional challenge of surviving in the extreme cold weather. How will Young Tak and the Seoul residents deal with the aftermath of this earthquake?
