Argylle

The movie Argylle starts with Elly Conway, a famous author, who is working on her fifth book series about a spy named Aubrey Argylle. While traveling by train to her mother’s house, Elly unexpectedly becomes a target for an assassination attempt.

Only one fellow passenger comes to help her: a man named Aidan. It turns out Aidan is actually a spy who's trying to protect Elly from a dangerous group called Division. Elly is in danger because the stories she writes unknowingly mirror real secret spy missions, which is why she's being targeted.

Surprisingly, Elly has connections to these real-life spies from her past. Moreover, her beloved fictional character, Aubrey Argylle, is also a real person. What will happen to Elly now?

Directed by Matthew Vaughn and written by Jason Fuchs, Argylle was released in early 2024. The movie offers a fresh take on spy stories with a mix of comedy and features a cast of well-known Hollywood actors. It's definitely a must-see for fans of spy movies!
