172 Days

The movie "172 Days" follows the life journey of Zira, who initially grew up in an environment far from the religious belief. She often enjoyed a lifestyle full of parties, drinking and drugs with her friends.

Her life changed drastically when Zira decided to emigrate and try to change her life positively. In a recitation, she met Amer Azzikra. Amer's attention to Zira's transformation began the process of ta'aruf (getting introduced in Islamic tradition) and eventually led to their marriage.

They built a happy married life, loving and supporting each other. However, their happiness suddenly stops when Amer is diagnosed with a critical illness that requires intensive care at the hospital. Can Zira get through this hardship?

The movie is adapted from a novel of the same name written by Nadzira Shafa, wife of the late Amer Azzikra. Indeed, this story is based on a true story that happened between Zira and the son of the late Ustadz Arifin Ilham.
