The Tawara family seems just like any other family on the outside. Souichi, the dad, has been running the family's sake business for a long time. What most people don't know is the Tawaras are the last of a ninja clan. They started living as normal people after a family member named Gaku died tragically.

By establishing the independent nation of Yamato on board, Kaieda seeks to forge an alliance with Japan, triggering tensions between the United States and Japan and potentially sparking a new war.

Japan is great at making manga, so they always have new ideas for TV shows. One example is "Living-Room Matsunaga-san", a drama based on Keiko Iwashita's popular manga. The manga was in Dessert magazine from 2016 to 2021.

In 2024, a live-action drama version started on Fuji TV and Kansai TV, directed by Ken Higurashi and Junichi Kanai. It's about Miko Sonoda, a high school girl who moves into her uncle's boarding house because of family issues.

Miko is nervous when she first comes, thinking someone is following her. But the "stalker" is actually Jun Matsunaga, a 29-year-old designer with a quick temper who lives in the boarding house. Their awkward first meeting makes Miko worry about her new life.
