At first, Meg considers the panic room an unnecessary space. However, on their first night in the mansion, a group of thieves led by Junior (Jared Leto) break in and steal a stash of bonds hidden in the house. Meg and Sarah immediately retreat to the panic room where the bonds are.

This movie tells the story of an athlete named Steve Prefontaine (Jared Leto), a talented long-distance runner from Coos Bay, Oregon. As a teenager, he studied and trained under coaches Bill Bowerman and Bill Dellinge, and quickly gained fame for his aggressive running style.

Mark David Chapman (Jared Leto) is a man with a mental disorder who idolizes the famous singer John Lennon. In 1980, he traveled to New York just to stalk his idol. He spent days standing outside John Lennon's apartment building, hoping to meet him.
During his "stalking", Chapman met many other admirers of Lennon, including Jude (Lindsay Lohan), a photographer named Paul Goresh (Judah Friedlander), and Lennon's son Sean (Yuuki Hosokawa). On December 8, 1980, he shot Lennon dead on the spot.
6. Basil
Basil (Jared Leto) is a young man from a prestigious family in England, who studied Oxford University. After graduated, Basil returns to London and meets a man named John (Christian Slater).
